Morocco packs a remarkable variety of adventure, culture, and relaxation into its corner of Northern Africa. There’s so much to see and explore from the city’s bustling medinas & mosques to the uncrowded long, golden beaches along the coast – adventure to our local Banana beach, discover paradise valley, wonder around the souk (local market) for textiles, spices & jewellery, enjoy the local hammam, and visit the Argan Oil women’s cooperative.
Her sessions have deeply touched me.
Catherine has a uniquely clear and sensitive style which opened a new level of experiencing yoga to me in a much more emotional way.

OUR STUNNING BOUTIQUE HOTEL
The Yogi Surfer is located on the peak of a small hill, in the bay of Taghazout with stunning views of the ocean. It’s 5km from the famous fishing village of the same name and 15km from Agadir, roughly 45 minutes from Al Massira International Airport in Agadir.
Stretching out below our Surf & Yoga Boutique Hotel are the banana plantations of Banana Village, and beyond are the long stretches of sandy beach offering a truly magnificent outlook. You’ll fall in love with the sea views of Banana Point, the nearest fantastic surf break.
It offers panoramic views from its rooftop terrace and swimming pool. Here you can sunbathe whilst enjoying the view of Taghazout Bay and enjoying a cup of the local mint tea or a fresh smoothie. Their juice bar is open here daily from 4 pm.
The Yogi Surfer offers a cozy, intimate and authentic Moroccan atmosphere revolving around the universe of surfing and yoga.
Looking out over the Atlantic Ocean, yoga classes are held in the shade of the wooden rooftop yoga shala. The unforgettable and inspiring shala is an open airy space blessed with the first rays at sunrise and the last magical light at sunset. The shala stays open all day at your disposal on either side of the yoga classes with Catherine.
Books are available at the hotel and they love exchanges so make sure to swap your completed holiday read in exchange for another!
The hotel has 8 spacious rooms all with private bathrooms, 6 of them are overlooking the Atlantic ocean. There’s plenty of options for you to choose the right room style for you when booking.
DELICIOUS FOOD TO NOURISH

Be prepared to indulge in delicious, nutritious, vegetarian dishes from the finest and freshest local produce. The Yogi Surfer’s concept is clean, organic, healthy food! They have worked tirelessly with local Chefs to offer you a high standard of delicious Vegetarian meals cooked with local fresh produce. From your morning super smoothie bowl to your evening dessert of avocado chocolate mousse you’ll be astounded by the beautiful dishes created by the talented local chefs.
The breakfast buffet includes organic fresh seasonal fruit, traditional dishes, along with the famous Moroccan mint tea and orange juice from the region.
At lunchtime there is a delicious packed lunch of salads, roasted vegetables, local breads and lentil dishes to replenish your energy after your morning surf session.
Dinners are prepared and served in the hotel complete with yummy pre-dinner dips. On the menu you will find traditional dishes including our couscous and tajines.
A full range of dietary options are offered including vegan and gluten free. Please ask for further details at the time of booking.
